On Monday, March 12, 2018 The National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame Foundation, Inc. will host the 13th Annual “Chefs of the World: A Taste of Fame.” This fundraising event showcases exquisite culinary creations by prominent chefs from around the world, recognizing their extraordinary culinary prowess. This affair will not only accentuate the talents of world-renowned chefs, but will highlight the many fine restaurants in the Metro-Atlanta area. Each chef will create at least a 5-course meal fit for royalty. Each year Chefs of the World is attended by influential executives and professionals from around the country. Prominent celebrities can also be found feasting on the superb delights presented as well. The Hyatt Regency Atlanta, 265 Peachtree Street, Atlanta, Georgia will again be the scene of the 2018 Chefs of the World.
Chefs of the World unite a constellation of legendary chefs for a worthy cause – to raise funds to support scholarships for students pursuing degrees in Culinary Arts or Hospitality. This is noteworthy because some of the most prolific and iconic chefs will be on hand to dazzle guests with their delightful creations for the evening. These culinary geniuses are credentialed as successful Restauranteurs, Authors, General Managers, Executive or Sous Chefs and maybe even Television Food Show Hosts. Some fortunate students will have a unique opportunity to personally dialogue and interact with these great chefs to tap into their knowledge and experience in the world of culinary arts!
The National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame Foundation, Inc. (Hall of Fame) is committed to the educational growth and development of African American undergraduate/graduate students attending Historically Black Colleges or Universities (HBCUs). It is important to assist African American youth in pursuit of a college education. Through gifts provided by our corporate sponsors, the NBCA Hall of Fame’s Chefs of the World is able to provide scholarships to deserving students attending HBCUs.
